Sneak Peak Event – Ferrington Vineyard

On Saturday, January 18th, we hosted our annual “Sneak Peek” event, unveiling our inaugural vintage of Ferrington Vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir!

For one day only, our members had the exclusive opportunity to be the first to taste and purchase these exceptional wines from the renowned Ferrington Vineyard in Anderson Valley.

With a history dating back to the 1960s, Ferrington Vineyard has played a key role in the evolution of winemaking in Anderson Valley. Known for its meticulous farming practices and commitment to sustainability, the vineyard is celebrated for producing premium cool-climate varietals, particularly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Its unique coastal-influenced climate—characterized by foggy mornings, sunny afternoons, and well-drained loam and clay soil contributes to the wines’ vibrant acidity and refined structure.

Several members braved the winter chill to join us for this special tasting, where our Ferrington wines were thoughtfully paired with cheese and a quince-and-apple chutney from Philo Apple Farm. Winemakers Nick Briggs and Paul Kochevar personally poured the Ferrington selections, while our tasting room hosts showcased a variety of wines from our portfolio.

We’re grateful to everyone who attended and made this event a memorable celebration of our first Ferrington Vineyard vintage!
