On July 12th, we welcomed members and guests to one of our favorite new traditions, the annual White Party at Dutcher Crossing. This year’s gathering was more than just a summer celebration; it marked the exciting debut of a bold new release: our 2023 Winemakers’ Cellar Sauvignon Blanc.

This isn’t your everyday Sauvignon Blanc. Made from cool-climate fruit sourced from Duff Bevill’s vineyard in the Russian River Valley and aged for nearly a year in rare 300L cigar barrels, this wine is a study in balance—textured, rich, and vibrant all at once. With less than three barrels produced, it’s as exclusive as it is expressive. Our winemaking team stepped outside the box with this one, and the result was something truly special.

Guests sipped the new release while enjoying live music from Hannah Jern-Miller, light bites, and the company of friends—all dressed in classic white to toast the season. The evening was elegant, laid-back, and full of good cheer.
